Have you heard the roar?
What is the Polar Bear
Community Fitness Center?
It's
a 6,000 sq. ft. facility designed for students and community members
that will be attached to the Hortonville High School Auditorium. For
a nominal fee, the new fitness center will be open to the community
throughout the year. Students will have it available for classes and
training. The new building will include space for free weights and
weight training equipment and an upper-level mezzanine with a variety
of aerobic equipment. The new facility will promote healthy lifestyles
for our entire community.
How will the facility
be funded?
The new structure will cost approximately $1.4 million.
A group has been driving the fundraising efforts. This project will
be completely funded by private donations.
